APPS sensor used 6 wires, three for the actual pedal position and 3 for idle validation switches.

For the pedal position: (Test with key on)

DB/WT is the 5V supply for the sensor

Should be 5V

BK/YL is the sensor ground

Should be very low voltage drop, put black meter lead on batt negative and red meter lead on sensor ground.

LB/BK is the sensor return and will votlage will vary with pedal

Mine is (using a scan tool)

idle = . 42V

WOT = 3. 61v

At . 52V the DRB read 1% open and at 3. 40 was 100%. Your truck may have slightly different values as it should be based on what your minimum APPS voltage is. If I remember right, it's typically 3V above min V for 100%. (Which is real close on my truck).
