OK so i found out it is 14mm the only metric size we don't have here at work. Has anyone replaced this with a standard size bolt?

It's also a *VERY* hard bolt.

The front suspension on my Jeep Cherokee is very similar, albeit on a smaller scale. Torque spec on the factory bolt is 75 ft. /lbs. , it's also got an odd profile to it. The hardest bolts I could get aftermarket all snapped at the thread root at around 50 ft. /lbs.

I put a 3rd Gen kit on my 99 (SolidSteel, through Rip @ SourceAutomotive,) and the bolt I removed shared the same characteristics as my Jeep.

In short, I'd go back to Dodge for this bolt.

Best bet is Mother Dodge on this part - might as well get the new nut with the tab on it too . . . Kind of stinks that they are coarse thread instead of fine? Go figure???
