when I panic brake the truck sometimes pulls to the left (driver side)
.
In troubleshooting I found two issues.
A rusted wet brake line off the front proportioning valve &
My track bar has some play at the frame end.
This is a 96 2500 with a 95' axle. A mechanic thought I might be able to tighten it down more with a impact wrench to fix it for awhile. I'd like to really fix it... . So what have you done & prefer?
Anyone using the Geno's one?
I'm comparing the Replacement Thuren Track Bar (94'-09') in Geno's ($345. 00) vs. doing new bushings and a Luke's Link ($100?) Geno's looks like more $ but easier & should last- being stainless with out any rubber to wear out?
What have you done?
Also is there anywhere to get prebent brake lines to speed up the install?
I'd prefer to not hand cut & flare generic bendable lines... .
It's really cold now in Chicago and I don't want to be under the truck for long- my trucks two long to fit in my heated garage
Thanks!
