2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission track bar

Thinking about having the track bar replaced. Do I need to get an alignment afterward ? It doesnt need one now.

I would just for peace of mind. Some places are no charge if they don't make any adjustments. When I rebuilt mine the alignment was off.

Changing a track bar will not change the alignment-no need for an alignment.The track bar plays no part in any tire wear affecting spec.The only tire wear spec that can be adjusted on the Dana front end is toe.

Do yourself a favor and buy a three gen conversion bracket and 3rd gen track Bar.

I didnt think it would need one. But when I had an alignment done the other day, I asked if it should be aligned again if I had the track bar replaced, and he said it should be. It is a reliable frame shop, so I didnt know if he was just trying to sell me or what.
