I definetly have a bad tracking bar! I am ready to replace/repair it but am not sure who has the best product. I am considering the "Luke's Link". Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

I have the Linstad Alignment track bar installed.

It is a rebult adjustable unit. I have adjusted it 3 times in the last 2 years. Nice part, I recommend it.

Here is a good picture of the DT Trac Bar, the drop bracket is made from 1/4" plate steel and powder coated black. it bolts up solid and the bar is straight with adjustable hiem joints

this is the upper hiem joint

Here is a view of the other or lower end hiem joint.

I find it to be an awsome high quality product,

Replace or rebuild

Is the stock track bar worth rebuilding with the Luke's Link if I have a lift and larger tires or should I just go straight to the DT track bar?

Thanks,

Eric

I have repaired track bars on two trucks using a Luke’s Link kit. The job is fairly easy and should take less than an hour. The kit cost me $50. 00 including shipping. On both trucks the results were amazing. This is a sound product that comes with a money back satisfaction guarantee. Check out the web site at www.LUKESLINK.COM.

Luke's link

I just installed a Luke's link on my track bar yesterday, and think it is going to be a very good longterm fix for track bar problems. I must admit that I like the looks of the bar shown, though. How much is the one with the heim joints, including the bracket? The Luke's link is under $50, and took about 2 hours to do-- 1 hour taking the bar off (need a good size pickle-fork) , 1/2 hour to put the link on the bar, and 1/2 hour to re-install and clean up.

I just installed the DT track bar this weekend, I must say it is a quility piece but it did not cure my problems even though the stock track bar was worn out. Does anyone else have a cure for the death wobble, I have checked all the suspension and don't see anything else loose. Has anyone pin pointed the cause and actually fixed the death wobble, it shakes real bad when hitting a sharp edge bump at freeway speeds and won't stop untill you stop.
