Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Hi guys. I'm new to TDR; joined last month. I have gotten so much information from you guys, it's really been great. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am tracking my truck through the processes that I read about here.
My truck was ordered on 11-13. (By the way, it is a 2500 QC LWB Laramie HO, 6 spd, tow pkg, 4. 10 anti-slip, Taupe Leather. )
Call DC last week, and was told that the truck had been built, and was on a random quality hold.
12-12 (Friday) told truck was released and to call back today for a rail car number.
12-15 (Today) Was given a rail car number on UP. Tracking on UPRR.com indicates that the truck has cleared customs and is currently enroute from Laredo, TX to New Orleand where it will be transferred to Norfolk Southern for delivery to Winston Salem, NC.
It is scheduled to arrive in New Orleans on Friday.
Any guess as to how long it will take from New Orleans to Winston Salem, NC via norfolk Southern?
