Off Roading One really big Megacab

I was wondering the same thing, thats why I built mine to fit tight between the brackets.

I actually meant within the joints themselves as they wear. I know it is a concern on street/strip cars and varying densities of bushings are used to suit the individual needs. I've often thought about building a set but hesitated when I had to get the bushings. Seems like you did a nice job though and I hope they work well for you!:)

I've had these heims sitting here for a while. If they ever did fail, I'm gonna replace them with Johnny Joints.

Thanks. Will do. I'll get them tomorrow for you. You guys who don't have a set, get them. They make the thing handle like its on rails [for a truck]. I'm really surprised at the difference in handling. Here are 2 more pics.

OH! Okay, I get it. The pin comes out and the blocks drop down giving the required amount of suspension travel after you reinsert the pin. Hense the huge strength capability of the pin and block combo. I thought it was a part of the ladder bar.

Ignore the slobbering idiot in the corner. That's just me. :D

Yep, pull the pin, block comes down. Pic shows how high the block folds up for daily driving. I haven't hooked to a trailer yet, but I believe the blocks will clear everything even with a load. The bars are probably overbuilt, but instead of using 1/4" plate, I used 1/2".
