Same with me... One hard launch and I am hop-city!

And it does not stop until I let off. . I HATE IT!!!

i had this problem in my race car once i added a pinion snubber and more go pedal and away went the hop. but it seems like the more more pedal i give the truck the worse it gets.

even if i wait to really get into it until fourth i still get hop for a second or two. someone must know how to get rid of this in the third gens. please help :{

I had a beautiful set layed out ... ... ... ... laser cut, moly heims, moly tube and all ... ... ... ... ... but figured most guys want a bolt on application :rolleyes:

Thats cool, was just kinda refering to the "absolutely can't weld on that frame" :-laf

I to have a '03 3500, SB, 4x2, I have been looking for someone to make traction bars for this type of truck. I tow a 30' 5er and also get alot of axle wrap! !

Superlift makes some, but they look cheesy. And they go for $800 per set. They would look ok if the center section was not filled in with an aluminum panel with "Superlift" cut out of it.

There are a couple of manufacturers that make them, but I erased the PM I received that listed them :rolleyes:

I did see an ad in the back of Diesel Power for a company that made them.

Has anyone heard anything about the CalTracs from CalvertRacing.com? They've been recommended to me, and they will make them to fit anything, but I don't have any direct experience with them.

I heard Glacier Diesel is making a set for 3rd gens that are bolt on :)

That is awesome news! If Richard at Glacier is making a set of bolt on bars, you can bet they will be very well designed ;)

I'm way ahead of ya'll. I called and talked to Richard last week and he's going to have two types. A lighter set for drag trucks"but still strong as hell" and a heavy set for the pulling trucks. He still in the setting up stage, so all he has right now are some beta testers, but hopefully by early next year everything will be ready to go. Keep an eye on the web site. Hope this helps... :D

this doesnt help me... lol

im looking for now... lol

my back end likes to wag a bit durring fast lane changes on the highwa... lol

thanks for the heads up

I have no complaint with my Superlift "Select Series" traction bars. Paid with shipping like $610 or something like that from Rocky mountain suspension. Truck hooks up much better. You do have to drill into frame, some might not like that, but wasnt a problem for me

can you get some pictures of them installed? im notmuch of a fan of superlift springs, but im not saying i wont buy something else they make... .
