Anyone out there making SLED Pulling bars for 3rd gens?

Not cheesy bars, but ones rated for pulling?

Any help is appreciated!

Contact kwikspool, Silver03, or Diesel Darryl. They have them for the 3rd gen's and have been pull tested many times. Your best luck would be with kwikspool not really sure if he even has a job, :-laf :-laf :-laf

start posting some way to contact them. I'm new here and have no idea who you're talking about, but have been looking for traction bars for my truck. I'm in, just point me in a better direction.

Maybe he will grace us with his presence on this thread and post some pictures of his bars on a 3rd gen!

Hell, I would be happy with pictures of any bars on any 3rd gen.

Sorry about not responding right away, but like digger said, I don't have a job other than pulling his trailer queen around to all the dyno's. :-laf :-laf I will get some pics posted shortly. I welded mine and silver03's to the frame and axle housing. These have been the way I came up with, doesn't mean that it's the correct way. :)

Here are three pics of the bars. Sorry about the mess, but it's raining up here in MI. These are simple bars but they get the job done. Silver03 and I have about 15 hooks with them and they have not bent. I will be more than happy to help anyone out, please PM. Thanks.

P. S. By the way XCumminsX, I never said you had to put them on your frame. If you can come up another way to fasten them to your frame without drilling throught the hydro form frame, let me know. :-{}

XcX,

Sorry to break your heart. But the legendary Rob Thomas doesn't even make his own traction bars. I wonder who he pays to do such a thing? I wonder if he even pays for it?? :D :D :D

Nick,

Welding to a 3rd gen axle for traction bars is a necessary evil of sorts.

With 2nd gen trucks the axle plate was on the bottom and could be worked with.

Unfortunately on the 3rd's its on top! So were sort of SOL.
