I've seen heavy duty pickups with tractor trailer rims and tires

on them at local truck shows. Does anyone know where they

sell these kits?

The trucks look awesome by the way. You can get a lot of lift

and not worry about getting attention from the local police.

The tires don't look like big mudders. The rim gets you most of

the height.

Excellent. Thanks for the link.

I didn't think that they would be free, but at least 5 grand for a

set of adapters, rims, tires??? Maybe when I find that sugar

mamma.....

Jeff Kelderman has 22. 5's on his 3500, ask him. I didn't think they would look good, but with his 10" lift, they look real good.

The bolt-ons would save a lot of cash. I've been on the

lookout for RV rims locally. I hope I can find something

tall that won't need an adapter. I'm not sure what I will be able

to bolt right on to the dually though.

I had the idea of using RV rims because I read that some are

19. 5" That would be equal to what Ricksontruck is selling but

cheaper. I don't care about running steel rims because the

simulators make them look good. I'm still looking around and

gathering info.

Ooops. . I just found out the price for six 19. 5" tires.

I won't be going that route any time soon. At least, I

won't be buying them brand new. If I could find used

ones in good shape, that would be different.

I think I just saw a set of the 22" adapters on e-bay. I'm at work so I can't get on there but if you do a search for "dodge ram 22 wheel" you will probably get them.

Good catch!

I checked out the auction. I searched under "wheel adapter". That's a lot better than buying them new. I can't swing it right now though.

He mentioned a good point in the auction. . If you have the 3. 55 gear set, go with the 19. 5 rims. And running any bigger would require mods anyway.

But, Ricksontruck states that their 19. 5 rims bolt right on to stock.

So do RV rims. So I guess the 19. 5 rims comes in 8 and 10 bolt pattern?

I got a set f ricksons with the 285 and they are 35 inches tall. I thought rickson had the rims made, if that rim is avail somewhere else then I wish I would have known it as I spent 2600$ for the whole rickson setup. They look awesome though... . Sometimes I just watch people stare at them LOL
