In the trade deficit with Canada, I wonder how much of it is due to TDR members buying stuff from DTT, BD and PDR?

Most of the deficit with Canada is due to government subsidized timber products. People blame environmental regulations for the demise of the US timber industry when in fact cheap Canadian lumber is the real culprit. Bill and Piers come in a close second.

Cheap timber from Canada, cheap labor from China, cheap diamonds from Russia, cheap oil form the middle east. What does the US produce that's cheap?



Too bad there isn't a market for whiners, bureaucrats, politicians and lawyers.

Whoppers and Big Macs are pretty cheap.

We produce technology and information then give it away or have it stolen. Pretty cheap. Arms are the US's #1 high dollar export.

Then OUR military gets to travel to far off places so they can be shot at with weapons that OUR Govt, sent to them. :-{}
