Traded my 99'

I traded my 99' with 182,000 miles for a Black 03' 2500 HO 6speed LWB SRW Quad cab. The hardest part was finding this particular truck! I must have called 20 dealers trying to find it. Was able to work an awesome deal, NO money out of pocket and payments are $10 less a month (and sticker price was well over 4k more than my old truck)



With only 500 miles so far I'm still adjusting but I know I'm going to love this truck! My 99' was an automatic so thats the biggest adjustment. I kept telling myself I was going to wait for the auto but I just could'nt!!!!! There are just too many improvements on these new trucks to wait.

Enjoy the new truck. I just looked at a couple on a dealer lot in FL. One a 3500 SRW 2WD, other a 2500 similarly equipped; both autos. I did notice 17" tires with a load range E rating.

Dang!!! That's a ton of miles on a '99!! How did the dealer treat you when they saw the odo? :--) Did they give you <$10k like the rest of us?

Yea they tried to rape me because of the miles. I've bought too many vehicles though and know how to play there game. I only spend 20 minutes at the dealer, long enough to test drive the new one and for them to look at my truck, then I walk. Then all negoteations are done over the phone! Once I get the deal I'm comfortable with I go back and spend 20 minutes signing the papers. Works like a charm! They were calling me "THE BEATER" when i went in to sign.

I paid Invoice + 1000 - 500 rebate - 300 commercial rebate and got 11,500 for my trade.
