Trailer Brake Connector

I'm installing my camper brake controller in our new 2500. The connector under the dash is about as far left and up as it could be. It seems to be attached somehow in its current location. I need to be able to pull it down to connect my controller. I'm afraid to yank it down without knowing how it's being held in place.



Has anyone else pulled this connector down?

Yes it is very hi, it is tied to the top of the main power plug that can be unclipped from its bracket and moved down then untie connector and swing it down.

I can plug/unplug mine while it is in its stock location.

I think it depends on my truck, mine was easy to get at, but my buddies 04. 5 was way high, it's held on with a zip tie, he went up there with a cutting pliers and snipped the zip-tie

Thanks for everyone's replies! I'll get my cutters out and cut the tie wrap.
