Help finding the link of the guy towing a building to Alaska

MaxBrake service.....

Just got a nice 2006 Mega-cab. It appears to have the towing option with the 7-pin RV plug and a 4-pin plug. No visible trailer brake controller. Is it hidden or do I need to buy one and install it? Are there any pitfalls to watch for? My '97 was not heavily computerized so things like this were easy. Help? :) Thanks. Brad

There is a blue plug next to the fuse panel under the dash near the the parking brake pedal. You will need the pigtail to plug into it and hook up the controller of your choice. You can get the pigtail from the dealer or any parts stores that sell controllers.

Wen I bought my Max Brake about two weeks ago the pig tail came with the controller. I bought mine from Plugitright. Dutch & Diana are TDR members.

With the proper pigtaile like the one mentioned above installing a brake controller is a simple job. Spend a little more and buy a MaxBrake which taps into a brake line at the master cylinder. It will provide perfectly controlled and modulated trailer braking to match the truck's braking.
