My 93 is kind of a wiring nightmare. All the lines and stuff are in for a trailer brake but the guy before me pulled it all out.

Can someone help me with the wires that are specific to the trailer brake so I can put one back in?

Thanks

The 4 brake controller wires (if you have a 4 wire controller) are:

1. Battery +12VDC

2. Ground -12VDC

3. Brake light

4. Trailer brake output

If you happen to have the Jordan Ultima 2020 proportional brake controller, it only uses 3 wires. It doesn't need the brake light input since it senses braking directly from brake pedal arm travel.

This is generic, you need to look up your controller, and verify the wires.

Battery = Black

Ground = White

Brake Light Input = Red

Trailer Output = Blue

I've got the prodigy controller with the generic wireing harness that came with it that I'm going to use for the old truck.

I should clarify my question. Is there a specific plug or set of wires that comes down from all the wiring in the 93 that is marked or otherwise labelled? Its all kind of a confusing mess at the moment and between the mess and dirt that has worked its way up there over the years, nothing is real clear.

Lots of old wiring from CB, old brake controller, and misc accessories has confused the issue.

thx for your help

so does someone know what the wires are to use so I can splice into them or is the above post describing that and I didn't get it the first time around...
