Trailer brakes/axles

My wife and I were on a trip in the No part of Calif. Had a graet time. Met some realy nice folks. . Some didnt have a good time. > There are RV's that are nothing more than junk. One super couple had to be towed into the camp ground aater their wheel felf off. Anyway they couldnt get parts because the the axile and barkes were "diposible" So any of you that are going to buy aRV make sure that you are getting what your paying for,

Sounds like mobile home axles. Like mine, but different.

Dexter has about 80% of the axle market I was told a few years ago. With the exception of one trailer that I know the axle was shop made I haven't seen anything but Dexter Axles in quite some time. It pays to know what you are getting. But then the RV salesman is trying to sell what he can make the most profit on, not necessarily the best equipped unit.



BUYER BEWARE - or at least be wary.
