Ok, I am at a loss, trailer brakes no longer working on any of my trailers, got power at the back of the brake controller, but not at the plug. I did have a problem a while back with a gooseneck trailer I had just bought, the connector wiring on that trailer was not even close. Any one got any ideas? Fuse is good and have power coming from my prodigy controller, its diagnostic mode also shows all suppose to be working.
Thanks
Kyle

The brake controller should have 4 wires going to it. One is a ground, one is 12V (always on). One is on (12V) when you press on the brake pedal. The fourth wire is the one to look at - it will have zero volts when the controller isn't applying the brakes, and higher voltages as the controller applies more braking. That wire is normally blue, but yours may be wired differently. Put a meter on that wire and move the manual control (on the bottom of the controller). You should see it start at zero volts and increase towards 12V as you move the manual control. You should see a similar action at the connector to the trailer (unless you have long arms you probably need a helper at the controller when checking at the connector).

The other thing to check is to make sure the ground connection at the trailer connector is good.
