TT - Bumper repair

just towed 5000 miles

I just had new brakes put on my trailer a few weeks ago. Went on my first 200 mile trip this weekend. When I stopped, I noticed that one of the hubs was really hot. The other 3 were pretty cool. Could a brake have been hanging up to cause a hot hub cover ? Or maybe the new pad was just a little high ?

It could be a moot point On the way home, no problem at all. All 4 hub covers were cool to the touch.

Could a too high brake pad just have needed to wear in a little ? Also, I turned down the gain just a little. My brakes were'nt locking up, but could a too aggressive setting caused one wheel to get hot?

Sounds like the one brake was adjusted up to much and draging. Just keep an eye on it in case it is hanging up once and awhile and getting hot on you.
