Young and Stupid needs advice from Old and Wise

I have an older Hillsboro 36' gooseneck flatbed that I want to replace. I would ultimately like to trade it and possibly my 93 Ram350 King Cab 4x2 Dually in on a new trailer.

I typically haul hay bales (round bales and loafs), and farm machinery, the biggest is a CASE/IH tractor weighing in around 16/18k. I am interested in either an aluminum or steel trailer. If any TDR members have any suggestions they are very welcome.

Thanks TDR.

There's a trailer dealer here in NW Iowa that apparently takes trade ins. He usually has 40 or more used ones on their web site octrailers.com. I have never dealt with this outfit or know them, just check out their web site from time to time. They are north of me about 20 miles.

If you have the time and patience, you usually come out better selling outright instead of trading. Around here used trailrs sell fast.
