TRAILER LIFE - FEB 03 - Pg 46 Towing Mirrors

Trailer Life's tow vehicle test this month is a Ram 1500 Sport. That is not the important part. What got me was that they ordered the truck with the flip up towing mirrors and proceeded to leave them folded down and strapped on auxiliary towing mirrors. Maybe the tester thought that the folding feature was to fold them in toward the door. Really makes you wonder when these people doing evaluations don't understand some of the basic stuff. And I pay to receive this rag, I mean mag.

I figured my subscription cost me $1. 09/issue. I guess it's worth that! The new PSD/auto looks impressive! They said the old chipped 7. 3s don't do as well as the new 6. 0L stock. HHMMMMM!!

Don, i'm sitting here reading the same article and just Scratching my head! (Besides the fact that them mirriors is just plain UGLY!)

I saw it too, but if you look at any other test they seem to always use the same ones and put them on any vehicle.



Probably like them... ... . that or they are just plain dumb.

Yeah, I noticed they listed them as "folding" mirrors, not flip-up. They must not have a clue... .
