2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission trailer plug

Does anyone know the best place to get a metal trailer plug like t he dodge one that came factory. My wires were all cut up when the previous owner took out the brake controller. I am not sure how to wire it back up and am not looking forward to spending the money to have anyone else do it.

If the truck originally came with the tow package ,there should be a plug next to the steering column that should still be in place . If you do not have a plug then you could get a complete harness from a trailer supply co. That would include the wire ,braker , plug brake controller wire ,rear lights, and plug in setup for trailer or boat seven pin and or flat four pin . You can do it yourself just fallow the easy to fallow instructions and ask for help if you get in bind. Ron Bissett in Metro Louisville Ky

actually i believe there is just a single wire under the das that is either blue or green that is for the brake controler, the other wires needed are power and ground and a tap to the brake light... . easy stuff the newer ones are the ones with a harness, the older just have some wires
