Where is the fuse located in the PDC on my '05 for the trailer tail light circuit? I think my trailer tail light fuse is out as I have no tail lights on either of my trailers but the truck tail lights work fine. Also the trailer turn and brake lights work fine. Just missing the trailer tail lights on all truck plugs. TIA.

#15, 20 amp? Also check for loose connection in plug.
OK that was for an '06. "05 diagram shows #15 and #33 as inline for trailer tails. There's also a relay involved #15 feeds the relay and #33is line to trailer. There are several diagrams, apparently different for various towing packages, ie 4 wire connector, 7 wire, etc.

My '05 has the factory tow package and included both a 4 wire plug and a 7 wire plug at the back if that helps any. I dont have any tail lights in the 4 wire plug or the 7 wire plug. Where is the #15 fuse in the pdc? I have got to try and find my owners manual.

Here's a diagram.

Run TDR search on TIPM. 06 for sure and maybe 05 Trailer lights, wipers etc are supposedly controlled by this unit. Shorts and other faults on trailers can blow the board. Expensive to replace but covered by warranty if still valid.

Does the '05 have the printed circuit board with relays under and is an integral part of the PDC as in '03 and '04 trucks? If it does, it may have a burned metal strip on the circuit board that sometimes fails before the fuse blows or one of the micro-relays on the circuit has failed.

Update for everyone. The fuse in #33 was bad. I had a 20 amp circuit breaker and swapped that out and now it is working fine. Thanks to everyone!!

having same problem 2013 dodge Ram no power to my marker are running lights..using test light im not getting power to the plug...blinkers work just no marker lights...which fuse are breaker would it be?

To protect the trucks system, I installed a relay activated by the running light circuit from the truck to power the trailers running lights from the 12V charge line. That way the trucks light circuit only has to put out a tiny amount of energy to keep the relay on.
