Trailer Tow Specs

Looks like the dealer pricing will be available this week, however as of last week my dealer did not have the towing specs for the 2003s. While I would prefer the 3. 73 gears, I will order whatever ratio that will give me the max towing capacity. In previous years many of the diesels were rated the same for both ratios. Does anyone know for sure what ratio I need to get the 23,000 CVWR on a Quad Cab 3500 HO? Once I have that, I can put in my order. My thanks to everyone that can help. Casey

You must get a 4. 10 6 speed or wait for the auto/HD combo in march. 3. 73 only gives you 21000 GCWR. Dealer has a confidential spec sheet without prices. They are either ignorant or unwilling to share.

Thanks for the info. I suspected that I may have to get the 4. 10. I will be ordering a six speed anyway, so looks like I will be going to put in the order some time this week. I suspect the sales guys doesn't know about the trailer specs. Things seem to happen slower in Canada. Cheers.
