2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Trailer towing mirrors will not stay put.

I have the factory trailer towing mirrors on my truck and they won't stay put. I can adjust them and they will slowly work themselves out of adjustment. Is there anyway to tighten the mirrors?

Interesting. I've noticed this on my '02 3500. I thought it was just mine...

You have to remove the glass to do this. There is a retaining ring behind the glass that has just worked lose. Do a search for the power tow mirror swap. There are instructions on how to tighten the retaining ring. It is the same type ring, just in a different location.
