Camper delivery jobs!!!

Looking for a trailer winch, 12 volt, reversible motor, around 6000 lbs to 8000 lbs, with a 10'' mounting plate. I'm building a new aluminum trailer to finish all I need is a winch. I'm pricing new ones, but maybe somebody knows where I could get one.

How big a load do you expect to haul on the trailer? I doubt you will need more than 3500 lbs of winch capacity to pull anything with wheels up on the trailer. A 6000 lb to an 8000 lb winch will probably be overkill.

Check out this link from Warn Winches to determine how much winch you will really need:

A Warn Z3500 can be had for around $350 (Clemson 4 Wheel Drive price, with free shipping. ) Can't hardly beat that deal.....

NOTE: I do not work for Clemson 4 Wheel Drive, nor have I ever purchased anything from them. I came across this information by searching the web... ...

Hope this helps... ...

Load expect to haul, well the trailer title classification is 10,000 lbs. gross, the reason 10,000 lbs, is in the state of Maryland they go 3000 lbs, to 5000 lbs to 10,000 lbs.

If your hauling something 4800 lbs, and your trailer weight plus, your over 5000 lbs .

Since they are cracking down on trailer inspections, I'll pay a little more to cover

my self. The reason I went to 8000 lbs. is so I can remove it from the trailer and use it on my truck hitch with a two pin removal. I priced Warn and Ramsey and I went with Ramsey for the better price. Thanks You for your information.

Ramsey

I use a Ramsey RE 10ooo winch and love it. This winch will actually pull more than its rating, and nice to know that there is no BS on the rating. Make sure it is very attached, as thieves and others can run off with it. , that is, if they can lift the 145 pounds or so that is weighs. :D
