On my 06 dsl with tow package I just picked up has no power to the left rear turn signal/brake light terminal in my 7way plug nor is there power to the 4 way plug same terminal. Is there a fuse for this? Someone told me it is part of a computer box and is not fused?? When I hooked up to my camper and activated the left turn signal, I heard something "pop". They replaced the 7 way outlet at the dealership as it had bent terminals (none touching), but I don't think they were honest #@$%!and had no power on this plug when they tested it. This trailer lights all worked fine on my other 06.

Help!

the module has to be reset by the dealer. you need to build a isolator for both trucks. the module can only be reset about three times and then must be replaced. if you need a drawing to make one pm me your email address

i am in the same boat. depending on the trailer, i have either no lights at all, or just some. i need to go to the dealer, but i need to do my homework so that i have my info straight when they say "it can't be reflashed".

I'm surprised some enterprising individual has come up with a plug-and-play unit for the harness connection at the 7-pin that would run all the lights off the +12v supply and use relays and fuses. If I ever get a new truck, I guess I'll have to build one myself.

If it has been overloaded it is not a reflash, but clear the DTC and reset module,Depending on the software in your TIPM there may be a flash available that will increase the amperage available to the trailer connector
