LOUD even at idle - what a Bunch of GIRLS! Well I guess that's who usually plays with these ski boats anyway :-laf .....



And the mileage - well let's see some numbers... ...

It would have been a real comparison with a 2500 Hemi powered Ram pulling that same boat in 30-40 MPH winds. I bet they would have been impressed with the mileage then compared to anyone's gasser. Especially to keep up the same speed up hill etc. !



A good 30-40 mph head wind makes that engine think the truck is going 90-100 with that load.

They are probably like some of the guys on the Ford boards that expect 20+ MPG while towing at 80 mph. :-laf

Gee alot of people on this site claim they DO get that kind of milage on ther cummins, however mine is not one of them. But when you compare the real milage with the power, you do get a fine duo!

If they think the Cummins is loud, wait till they test a Ford... . plus towing an 8000lb boat you don't need 4. 10's. They should have put a 32 foot power boat behind it and then go climb a hill... .
