Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Got my train horns installed this morning and they sound real purrty. They're not "real" train horns in that they're not the cast iron type, but they sound like 'em! Oo.
I haven't used them on the road just yet because I went from the shop to work and there were cops everywhere I was, and I'm not in the mood for ticket just yet.
Had the horns hooked up to my steering wheel horn rather than an additional button, but if I ever need to use the "normal" horn, I can flip a switch and go back to legal. Also had them hook the horns up to one of the channels on my alarm remote. Yep, nothing quite like scaring the daylights out of someone walking by your truck! But it couldn't have been you since you were no where near the truck! *cue evil laughter
