TRANEE DIPSTICK VIBS

How much did you trim off of your dip stick? I took 3/4" off of mine and it stopped the problem.

I tried trimming the stick like you guys said and it still shakes and tries to come unseated. Is this a common problem with the tube vibrating? I need to fix this problem before dirt gets into the tube and the tranee. Has anyone made a bracket to help dampen the vibes? With all the vibration I would suspect that the o-ring seal at the tranee will eventually start to leak.

Could it be that your O-ring already needs replacing?Might be worth a try replacing the O-ring now,might set you back 25 cents from an auto parts or $8. 95 from Dodge.
