I have a 2003 AT w/ 73,000 miles. Since I purchased the the truck (68,000 miles) I have have had intermitent flashes of the "Transmission Temperature" light. It only happens occasionaly and for very short duration. Pretty much it is just a flash I see in the corner of my eye. It may happen first thing in the morning before the engine temp gets up to normal or after a few hours of driving. All else seems OK. Tranmission is less than crisp but what stock AT isn't? After it happened the first time I crawled under the truck and felt the tranmission. It seemed normally warm. Definetly not "HOT". I'm not sure this is a good check, but it's all I have. It seems to be an electrical gremlin. Possibly a bad connection at the tranmission? Has anyone experienced the same?

There is a TSB on this, it has to do with a computer reflash. You can find it on Geno's garage web site. My 03 was flashing "check guages" and "low wash". I took it to the dealer with the TSB and they said my computer was up to date but reflashed it anyway and guess what, no more intermident lights.

I had the same Trans. Temp. light problem, had the TSB for "Erroneous Indicator Light" done and problem solved.
