Friend of mine is new to Cummins world. Has A 22 2500 with the 68rfe (?) difinitly not the Asain (spelling) that he had his truck in for some recalls and when they returned it to him that handed the trans dip stick to him and said a recall for the trans vent was to put a vent on the tube and that he has to remove the vent to check fluid. Is this correct? I've got him interested in TDR so we might get a new member

They put a smaller locking dipstick in. Keep the old one to check fluid level. I have the same year truck and that’s what they did for the recall. Have had no issues.
