Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) trans cases

I have a 1997 47 RE 4x4 transmission from behind a 12 valve engine and am wondering if it will interchange into a 2000 24 valve 4x4 truck if I swap over the valve body and the electronics ie. governor sensor and transducer and OD and Tcc solenoids that go with it so they will plug into the later truck connector. both are RE cases not RH Thanks for any input

Has anyone had experience with this . I would think some one has done this swap or if anyone could steer me the right direction for an answer Thanks

I would call one of the big trany shops ( Suncoast, ATS, DTT,... )

it would depend on the number of splines on the transmission or t-case and the shaft length
