Has anyone ever swaped an auto transmission out for a stick? I was thinking of swaping my auto for a stick. Is there a kit somewhere maybe to adapt the wiring and everything? I think that I'm leaning toward a six speed. That would be a NV5600 right? How hard would this be?

There are a few around that have done it. I looked at doing it a while ago and the best way to do it is to buy a wrecked truck as close to your truck as possible with a manual transmission and use it for all the peices you need. Then pick up the NV5600 somewhere.

Do a Search. Someone on here posted the ENTIRE list of parts needed to convert everything about 4 months ago. It would help you out I believe.

Yes, I have. Did not use any kits, all factory oem parts. I did a nv4500 though and spent $2500. 00 in parts. I love it, and it wasn't that hard

to do either. If you have any ????s I'll be glad to assist with parts info.
