Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Trans cooler

Looking for some advice on where to mount a ATS trans cooler with fan on a 2000 3500 DRW?

Under the bed where it is protected but also where it can get some good airflow

The first gen had an aux cooler option it was mounted up in the front corner outside the frame rail as I recall

There used to be a few around here like that, I recall the cooler option on some of the first gens used by the loggers. It was always full of mud as it was mounted under the body just ahead of the left rear tire. Stood up straight for better airflow.

Tried to find a picture yesterday but failed....

They sold the kit very cheap. When the available stock got thin I tried to buy some but they were all gone by the times order went in
