Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Last night I replaced the POS RTV that replaced the POS cork gasket on my trans pan. I had the truck idling in neutral as I finished adding ATF and noticed a drip on the floor. I thought it was still a gasket issue but it was the brass fitting that screws into the trans that is part of the '95 updated cooler line.
I installed the updated line in Nov of 2003 after the factory quick connect let go. I am surprised that the fitting backed out. The fitting on the cooler line was still very tight in the brass fitting.
Has anyone else experienced this? If not, maybe you should check your connections if you've installed the update.
