Trans Drain Plug Install

Ready to drill the hole.
Where is the preferred location to install a drain plug (B&M) in a 48RE?

I would put it as far back as you can because usually the truck is jacked up in the front to service the trans....That is unless you have a car hoist.

Passenger side of pan about 2/3 of the way back from the front on the pan, bottom 1/3 of the pan. Keep the hole between the pan rail bolts so you can get to them with a socket.
