My new "Level 10" trans. (which is now 10 months old on a 6 month warranty) is leaking fluid. It seems to be coming from the seal around the shift linkage. Is this seal a big project to replace or can I do it myself. Truck sat for a week and the converter must have drained and left a big pool of fluid on the garage floor.

:mad:Can anybody walk me through the process quickly? Thanks.

You have to drop the pan and remove the valve body to replace the o-ring around the shifter, it is part of the VB. You might as well do the one on the electrical plug next to it also while you are already covered in ATF. The hardest part is getting that parking pawl c-clip off and then back on again.
