When towing the trailor or just climbing a hill in OD the truck jerks. Doesn't feel like slippage, is my TC unlocking for fractions of a second to cause this jerking? Is tis the famous lock unlock issue? DWest
Have you noticed an association with outside temperature? In other words, is it worse when it's cold outside? If so it could be the injection-timing associated "miss" that's been discussed recently.
Did you ever run the interstate at 75 in 3rd and try to even hear someone talk? My transmission is built to tow in OD,thanks for not answerring the Question.
mine was doing the same thing and I wish i could tell you what exactly my builder did, but he put in some stronger clutch packs and tweaked the valve body a little. He also said that he upped the line pressure and now it's great. As you described, it wasn't slipping, just not enough line pressure to hold the packs together or something like that. There is also a link somewhere on wrapping the negative cable from the alternator to the battery in tin foil to see if adding a filter would help you.
