I have a trans leak that can not be found, I pull trailers for a living & can not make a living until this is found! I have a 2001 Dodge 2500 cummins with 4 spd automatic/overdrive, 2 wheel drive, 110,000 miles. Here is whats going on.
I came back from Utah to Indiana (approx 1500 miles) during the trip I had to add transmission fluid @ about every 200 miles for a total of 2 quarts the whole 1500 miles. I crawled under the truck 4 times & found no visible leak, I had the truck put on the hoist twice during the trip, once at @ jiffy lube, once at @ Dodge dealership, they found no visible leaks. No fluid is going into cooling system, no signs of fluid blowing onto undercarriage of truck. Got her back to Indiana, took her to transmission shop I have dealt with in past, they also found no leaks, visible or in cooling system. Everyone is baffled, anyone ever have this happen to them?
PLEASE HELP, SCARED TO PULL ANOTHER TRAILER until I KNOW WHATS GOING ON.
Thanks
