#@$%!Well after talking with the Goerend Bros. about my seemingly easy fix for my trans problem, the trans decides to take a dump. It acts like the clutch is not grabbing at all (my way of describing auto trans acting ) and it will only do about 15mph.

I know I need professional help, so if there's Anyone that lives in or near CHICAGO and knows of a REPUTABLE transmission shop it would be greatly appreciated. My sincere thanks to those that reply.

Hey Skeeter,

I just got off the phone with Denise. She said to give these guys a call. That they may be a bit closer to you.

Duramax Tuner, Union, IL 60180, 815-703-6652

Dan's Diesel Performance, Marengo, IL 60152, 815-245-8548

Dusty's Transmission Service, Terre Haute, IN, 812-894-2683

J & M Transmission, Mchenry, IL, 815-385-9134

The top 3 are recommendations from Dave and Craig. Dave said he has talked to guys at J&M a few times and has a good feeling about them. He also said to make sure that wherever you go, whether it's one of the above or someone else, to let them know that they would be happy for them to call them to discuss what's going on with your transmission and what needs to be done.

Hope that helps you a little.
