I do. I wait till engine and trans are nice and hot, and I stop the truck on a level patch of ground, shift through all the gears and park and neutral a couple of times then put it in N and check it!

Most aftermarket transmissions can flow fluid in park but it is still a good idea to check level in neutral.

Some people even recommend checking the fluid while it is in gear. Make sure the transmission is hot by driving at least 10 miles, on level ground Chock the wheels and set the emergency brake, shift forward to reverse and then back to drive, then check fluid level.

I called ATS and they said that even though it pumps in Park it doesn't flow like when in gear so they told me to check it in N.

Thanks guys.
