I had a south bend double disc installed in my truck about a month ago. Since then the trans has been hard to shift. It is notchy. It's hard to go into first gear. I have to run it through the gears before it goes into first. Is there some sort of adjustment that needs to be made? I changed the fluid and refilled it with +4. No change. Any ideas?

Did you have they south bend heavy duty master an slave installed? In my opinion they are a must when using a SB clutch. Your stock hydrolics just can't handle the heavier pressure plate. However if you did put them in there should be an adjustment on the master that allows you to compensate for floor mat thickness, Good luck!!!

Sounds like the pressure plate is not fully releasing, Bromiley99 is on the right track of questions to ask.
