hi iam a new member to the TDR and have a question about my 96 2500 club cab 2wd automatic 87,000 miles. i am going to change the transmission fuid and filter and thought about putting a deep pan that holds a couple extra quarts for cooling --any thougths or suggestions on this and type of fluid is best for hauling a lance camper and pulling a boat, and also does a 727 pan interchange with the one on my truck -47re?? not sure on that one -----thanks in advance for all the help!!

Welcome

I would suggest using the fluide the factory calls for. Install a temp. gauge. If the temps get up to around 200degs towing I would install a deep pan. The factory set up works very well. The T. D. R. magazine is full of info. Happy reading
