trans probe?

I need to know where to put the thermocouple for a trans guage on an '01 automatic.

I put mine in the cooler line. Had to get a new line for a '95 Ram - has a port in it for the sender. This is recommended by most here as the best place for the sender.

I have both probes but a transmission guy I have great faith in recommends putting the prob in the pan.

Did the same as Dave, #5011244AA. Just rember to remove the one way flow ball out of the new line...
