Attention: TDR Forum Junkies If its not one thing its a half a dozen. Took my clutch to SBC today. It wasnt broke or slipping but it was very thin. Picked up a new 13 inch, looks like a good quality clutch. Very knowledgeable guy behind the counter. He thinks the problem is in the trans. I tried to take it to a trans shop near SBC but they where closed. Anyway as soon as you let the clutch out it starts to grind and the truck wont move in any gear. The input shaft is OK , the front berring looks good. Looking into the trans through the shifter hole the few gears you can see look ok , NO metal shavings in the oil. Does anyone have a clue as to what is wrong? The trans is a 5 speed manual ,(98 3500 truck) I will take it to a trans shop tommorow but I would like to kinda have some ideas before I put myself at there mercy. Thanks Otis
