Hey guys. Just put on a set of Autometer Z-series gauges__A-pillar__

Everythings okay except ,haven't hooked up trans temp sender yet.

Could the sender be put in one of the trans test ports and still give an accurate reading

Also put on an EZ

Which set of Jumpers is for best power w/stock truck and auto

I don't care about to much smoke ie... . good way to get rid of tailgaters, a least it works in my 84

Sorry about the long post I just have soooo many questions

EZ is fine on 3.......

As far as the transmission sender. The output line to the cooler is the most accurate reading. I originally bought a tee from Jannetty"s and cut it into the line. When I had my mods done to the trans it was recommended to go to the OEM line from a 95?. This is welded in and wont cause any problems with the higher pressures.

The tee never leaked on mine but I have read where some people have had problems.

I agree with Garrett. Bill Kondolay made me into a convert of the '95 "hot" cooler line temp. sender location. I had this upgrade installed when I had DTT install all the other trick transmission goodies in my Ram. Beforehand, I had the trans. temp. sender installed in my (then) Mag-Hytec "Deep" trans. pan. The trans. temp. sender installed in the "hot" output line is the most accurate location for placement. Additionally, the reaction time to temp. change is instant!

kswieringa, I have the DD TTPM (pretty close to an EZ... except for one setting... timing only in the TTPM). I used to have it set to, fueling all in at 20 psi (DD's recommendation if you have their injectors installed... I do :D ) however, I recently changed the jumpers so all the fuel is in at 3 psi. This really fills in the fueling gap of the DD3s on the low end (as compared to the DD2s)... and Piers' Super Turbo makes everything work in perfect harmony! :D

I ahve been running Jannetty's "Trans Thermal Well" for several months now without any problems. The '95 model line can get real expensive, and I cannot see any benefit to it at all. I am currently running 130#'s line preasure and have not had any leaks, and temps have never been over 165* towing.

Buy the Jannetty "Well" put it in the hot line under water exchanger in the straight piece of the line and forget about it.
