Competition Trans Shields

Does anyone know who makes trans shields for a 47 RE trans. One for the transand the bell housing and ones that goes around the trans oil pan. And it has to be sfi approved.

We run a Stroud Blanket on the dragster. It has passed NHRA tech, and is SFI certified. Needs certified every two years.

thanks i didnt see one for a 74RE trans i also need to get a shield that goes around the valve body.

The TCI one is a bit short. The Stroud one, is almost 24" long, and covers up the pan section, valve body, and some of the rear OD section.

I got it (a universal one) from Jeg's, but give them a call, and they may be able to suggest a better fit, or do a custom one.

sbentz----thanks--I have the one from summit---when i got it we didn't need to wrap the valve body--so you're right that it doesn't go all the way around---chris
