Trans shop in San Diego

My buddy lost his trans on the way home from MOPARS AT THE STRIP. He would like to know if there are any performance trans shops in San Diego that can repair and upgrade his transmission.

I told him to sign up and ask himself but his internet system is giving him fits.

Steve, How far is he willing to take the truck? If distance isn't a problem, my first recommendation is Richard Brown in Riverdale, CA. But if he really needs local help, try Inglewood Trans. 310-674-4400, ask for Mike. I don't know of any directly in San Diego. Mike

Stay away from West Coast Diesel Performance. I suggest taking it to Mike at Inglewood. Really knowledgeable, and helpful too.

I used Fred Swanson in Arizona but I'm not sure if he is around anymore. My trans has been sweet.

I just got tc/vb upgrade, shift kit, etc. from DRW in Santee CA. Call Wayne at 619-258-4240. I am very happy with transmission and with DRW!!!

Maybe I should call Fred, I emailed a few times but not sure if they were recieved. I was wanting to go through mine and maybe install the billet shafts. My reverse/1st band adjustment seems to be adjusted quite a bit.

i know this is an old thread but i can't believe after all this time a town the size of san diego still doesn't have a known good transmission shop that has some specialty in our trannies... ...
