Anyone have any experience with Garmons or Southern truck parts? I need my trans rebuilt and I need a reputable shop. I spoke to GArmon this morning. He seems to be on the up and up and knows what he is talking about. Any advice?

I went to Garmon's dyno day last November and was very impressed with the shop and all that they had going on. I know when my 47RE checks-out I'll be dropping mine off for their trans expertise...

I've been running a Garmon built transmission for 4 years. He's one of the good guys in the diesel performance business.

Billy, what trans modifications did you have Garmon do? I am trying to decide if I need a biilet input shaft or not.

I have met Jeff Garmon. He is a top notch guy. I have two friends running his trannys. One friend has 434 horse power. He is Always ready to answer your questions.

He installed the SunCoast ProLoc tc, billet input, strut, bands and clutches. Later I had him install a 48re valve body that he modifies that's really nice.

You'll definitely need a billet input shaft, tc and vb upgrade.
