Trans shutter getting worse,any suggestions!!

Needing some advise,my 2000,3500,automatic transmission is starting to shutter a bit on take off,not bad but it is getting worse,only when towing,should I use the pressure lock,will this take care of the problem.
I only run a va box and with exhaust has no muffler,just straight pipe,I use amsoil atf+4 in the transmission,had no problems until last week I noticed it a bit of shutter,the dealer says it is normal,yeah right. .
I have 275 injectors but I won't put them in until I do a full upgrade on trans,but funds are keeping me from that right now,will the pressure lock get me by for a while??

Dave, call Dave Goerend he is in the TDR in the back where the bussiness cards are. You might get away with a Transgo shift kit for awhile... ... Pete

Remove the VA box and do the trans upgrade before you put it back in.
My shutter caused the rear seal to blow and the drive-shaft rear end seal to split.
Also it cant be good on the bands in the trans.

Hey, I recall someone posting that he had the same problem and it turned out to be the VA box, once he swapped it out with a new VA and all is OK. Check the archives...

Dave, I'm no expert but... the transmission shuddering "on take off" is not good. When taking off from a dead stop you are in fluid coupling (i. e. , the torque converter clutch is NOT locked up). Are you sure about what you stated or did you mean to say it shudders when going into lockup?

I want to thank the guys with the advise,turns out all I had to do was add some atf+4,it was a half a quart low,and I went to get it changed and it is back to normal,screen was clean with,changed it all new again,and works great. .
